why I’m still happy about blaine proposing!

First of all this is glee; the good stuff that makes us happy doesn’t have to be the things that would work out best if it was real life. It’s fictional and I for one would like it to be better than real life -nothing could make me happier than seeing klaine get married, and I’d love for that to happen soon, I don’t care if it’s logical.
(No I don’t believe kurt’ll say yes, and I don’t think he should. yet. and that’s ok)
Blaine’s so damn in love with kurt to that point that he knows he’s the only one he wants to and can grow old with.
He’s one of the impulsive, naive, go getters who thinks opportunities over logistics and possible negative consequences
He’s watching the world change to a place where he’s accepted for what he is (he was put in the hospital for god’s sake)
Marriage for him is the act of commitment and a promise to love someone forever, economics and housing and all that stuff pales to the strength of that promise and the romanticism in it.
Young does not equal immature
Blaine is an old fashioned romantic and I bet you he believes in the classic pure fairytale love.
They’re broken up but I think blaine (and kurt) knows they’re going to end up together eventually
An engagement is a promise, the wedding doesn’t have to happen until a while later
For me the fact that blaine loves kurt enough to propose is the only thing that matters and I’m so deep in this ship that I refuse to care about the “cynical” arguments towards this

I just needed to air this out. I’m not saying that teenage weddings as a general rule is a good idea, but this isn’t about that, not really. for the kind of person blaine is it makes sense that he would propose now and that’s okay.

yes, if this was a real life couple I believe they should have waited, but since this is glee and I just watch it to feel happy I would adore to get to see klaine get married

I remember when we got the spoilers for this and it was the happiest moment of our fandom, but everyone seem so put down now and it makes me sad

(please don’t all debate this with me on anon it clogs up everything - I won’t publish anything you don’t want me to anyway! :))

Sometimes I forget that we are much taller in scandinavia... So when people say that Chris Colfer is tall, and he's only 179cm, I'm confused... He's quite short actually, most of my friends (they're 15/16) are between 185-195, and my girl friends are around Chris Colfer's height. It's just funny...
